Frame & Log specialise in the design, sales and marketing of our own log and timber cabins and lodges. Incorporating traditional timber frame house building techniques into log construction, we are manufacturing high specification cabins and lodges that combine the structural and economical reliability of timber frame with the aesthetic appeal and character of a log home.


Our designs combine classic log cabin styles with a more contemporary, modern finish. The timber frame also enables us to offer greater flexibility over both internal and external finishing, be it a choice of logs or boarding on the outside, or plasterboard and timber on the inside. Everything down to your choice of finishes and colours will help to make your cabin highly adaptable to your local surroundings, the requirements of the planners, but more importantly your own personal taste.

Frame & Log is part of Cartledge Timber Frame, who have been specialising in timber frame design and manufacturing for over 30 years. With an in house design team, we also welcome any bespoke projects or alternative ideas you may have, as we aim to provide the added flexibility that will help you achieve the look that you’re after, whether that’s a rustic retreat for a woodland setting, or something more contemporary for your beach house.
